In general, both user interfaces offer the ability to host multiple websites, databases, and mail services under the same conditions. However, CloudPit supports numerous modern features that are no longer implemented in our legacy Controlpanel. In the long term, the Controlpanel will also be replaced by CloudPit.
If you now want to switch to a CloudPit account, you can do so in several ways. This article illustrates the available options.

The additional features that CloudPit offers you compared to the legacy Controlpanel are as follows:

Especially in combination, these two features make CloudPit a massive added value for all customers who want to operate multiple projects cleanly separated from each other.

You can register a new account at any time by placing a new order for a product. This will automatically be created in CloudPit. How this new registration works is described in the following article: --> How can I register with easyname?
Once you have the CloudPit account, you only need to transfer the existing content from the web and mail space to your new account. You can do this via FTP or SSH. --> How can I transfer my website to easyname?
To transfer your domains from the legacy Controlpanel to your CloudPit account, you currently still need to do a domain transfer, for which you will need the respective auth code. --> How can I transfer my domain to easyname?
You can either back up your mailboxes locally and import them into the newly created mailboxes in your CloudPit account via your mail client, or you can use the imapsync tool for this. --> imapsync X
