How can I transfer my domain to easyname?
If you want to transfer your domain to easyname, you will need to obtain an Authcode from your current domain provider. Once you have it, you can transfer your domain to us either via our website, directly in CloudPit, or in the Control Panel.

3. Directly in the Control Panel
1. Via the easyname website
If you do not yet have a user account with us, you can start the transfer of your domain via the Transfer domain menu item on our website.
To do this, enter the name of your domain in the search field and then click the [Search for this domain] button. Our ordering system will now prompt you to either log in or [Continue as a new customer]. By clicking the second option, you will be redirected to the registration page.
Now you can enter the desired domain name that you want to transfer to easyname. By clicking [Check domain], our ordering system will inform you that this domain is already registered and offer to [Transfer] it to us.
By clicking this button, you will be prompted to enter the AuthInfo code. By clicking the yellow [Confirm] button, the domain transfer will be started.
2. Directly in CloudPit
To start a domain transfer directly in CloudPit, click on the [Order domain] button in the overview of your active web hostings and domains.
In the next step, you will be asked whether you want to [Add the domain to a contract] or [Order the domain only]. If you choose the first option, you can select the desired hosting – the domain will then be set to this hosting directly after ordering. This allows you to immediately upload web content, create email addresses, and so on.
Enter your domain in the search field under [Enter your desired domain] and click [Check domain]. When prompted that the desired domain is already taken, click the [Transfer] button.
Now you must enter the auth code of the domain to be transferred and click the [Confirm] button.
3. Directly in the Control Panel
You can initiate the transfer directly in the Control Panel by clicking [Domains] in the navigation menu and selecting [Transfer domain].
