Domain Protection gives you four building blocks that together significantly reduce the risk of domain loss, transfer abuse and high recovery costs. You book Domain Protection individually for each domain and stay in control.
Transfer protection stays active as long as you don't confirm the transfer via 2FA – even if you're not logged into the customer area every day. Real-time email alerts notify you immediately as soon as an auth code is requested or a transfer request is submitted.
If a domain is deleted by mistake, easyname handles the recovery including all resulting registrar fees, free of charge. Recovery is available for up to 90 days after the contract ends, as long as the contract is still active.
The auth code is only retrieved after the correct security code is entered. You'll also be notified by email when a transfer request comes in – 2FA confirmed successfully, auth code is released; 2FA failed, auth code was not shown.
The proof of ownership confirms domain ownership as a PDF – with domain name, owner details and date of issue. Available anytime in the customer area.

Domain Protection is an add-on for your domain at easyname. It includes transfer protection via 2FA, a free recovery service and a proof of ownership as a PDF. You can book Domain Protection individually for each domain.
Domain Protection is billed per domain and month – at €0.99 incl. VAT. The contract term is 12 months, the notice period 30 days.
Transfer protection activates two-factor authentication for your domain transfer. Without entering the security code, no auth code is released. You'll also be notified by email as soon as a transfer request comes in.
The proof of ownership is a PDF document with domain name, owner details and date of issue.
