How many emails can/may I send (Email Limit)?

The easyname mail servers (SMTP) limit the sending of emails as follows:

• 100 emails/recipient per send
• 200 emails/recipient within 5 minutes
• 400 emails/recipient within 1 hour
• 1500 emails/recipient per 1 day (24 hours)

If you use PHP or sendmail on our web servers, the following limits apply:

• 25 emails/recipient within 1 minute
• 50 emails/recipient within 5 minutes
• 80 emails/recipient within 1 hour
• 750 emails/recipient per 1 day (24 hours)

To prevent the sending of spam, the following rule applies: As soon as a mailbox produces more than 15 bounce messages within one hour, the mailbox will be blocked for one hour (no emails can be sent). If it exceeds 60, the mailbox will be blocked for 24 hours.
