Starting April 2025, easyname will rely on our powerful infrastructure in Austria to continue providing you with reliable service. As part of the international group.one, we want to give you the choice: Continue using our proven service at the new location in Austria, or choose METANET, our established Swiss provider, which will continue to host your data in Switzerland.
Even if you switch your web hosting to METANET or another provider, you can still keep and manage your domain with easyname.
If you move your hosting to our data center in Vienna, no further action is required on your part – we will handle the technical implementation. Please note that if your domain uses external name servers, you will need to update the server's IP address on them after the move. If you want to move your domain and your website to METANET, you need to transfer the domain and the website data. For this you will need the so-called Authcode for the domain transfer, as well as your FTP access and the new hosting with METANET.
