Advance Notice for PHP Extended Support (Web Version)

Hello,

We would like to inform you that you are currently using an outdated PHP version. This version is no longer officially supported, which may pose potential risks to the stability and compatibility of your website.

We therefore strongly recommend that you switch to a current, secure, and high-performance version of PHP (PHP 8.1 or higher). You can find a step-by-step guide for a smooth transition in CloudPit here: Step-by-step guide. 

What happens if you do not update?

If you do not update to a supported PHP version (at least 8.1) by June 23, 2025, the paid PHP Extended Support Service will be automatically activated and billed for the respective contracts. Since we will then provide the updates for outdated PHP versions ourselves, this service ensures the secure operation of your website even when your PHP version has reached End-of-Life (EOL). Pay easily and conveniently via SEPA direct debit

Our PHP Extended Support is billed as a monthly service. To make payment as easy as possible for you, we offer SEPA direct debit as a convenient and secure payment method. Note: An active Extended Support subscription applies per web hosting contract and PHP generation, regardless of the number of included websites/domains. The Extended Support ends automatically as soon as you switch to a current PHP version.

If there are already cancellations in place for your contracts, these will of course remain effective unless you decide to revoke them. However, the above-mentioned charges for PHP Extended Support will still apply until the cancellation takes effect, as long as you continue to use the old PHP version.
