Why can't I delete the folders "files," "html," and "log" in my root directory?

The folders files, html, and log are an integral part of your web hosting account and cannot be deleted.

This directory structure is defined by the system and is necessary for the operation of your web hosting.

Function of the individual folders

• html
  This directory is publicly accessible and is used to provide your website.
• log
  Used for logs, error reports, and web statistics.
• files
  Used to store files that should not be publicly accessible on the internet (e.g., scripts or internal data).

Note

Even though these folders cannot be deleted, you can manage their contents at any time.
