A virtual server, also known as a VPS, is a digital container in which a complete server environment can be operated. This allows us to provide you with full root access and a dedicated IP address. VPSs can also be offered at a significantly lower cost than dedicated servers, since multiple customers share the hardware resources. However, we do not practice overselling and provide guaranteed hardware performance. This means that you always have the full assured performance.
Each server operates independently and is isolated from the other containers on a server system – your own environment cannot be affected by other users and vice versa.
We offer both cost-effective Linux systems and systems with a Windows Server license. Depending on your use case, you can order the appropriate VPS from us. How can I order a VPS?
A VPS opens up a wide range of possible uses for you – for example, as a more powerful web host for a large online shop, as your own mail or database server for larger projects. However, please note that there are also some limitations with our VPSs, which you can read about here: Which software can I install on my Linux VPS?
