Which software can I install on my Linux VPS?

You can basically install any program on your VPS that is supported by the operating system used.

The available operating systems as well as further technical information can be found on our server page.

Restrictions

Due to the virtualization technology used, the following restrictions currently apply:

• It is not possible to customize or install your own NTP server.
• The kernel cannot be customized beyond the version provided by the virtualization stack.
• The installation of snaps under Ubuntu is not possible.

Whether a particular program can be used depends on the installed operating system and the technical requirements of the software.
