Which software can I install on my Linux VPS?

In general, you can install any program that is supported by the operating system currently in use on your VPS. A list of the operating systems we provide as well as some supported scripting languages can be found directly on our server page. 

The only limitations that currently exist due to the virtualization technology used are:

• no customization of or installation of your own NTP server possible
• no customization of the kernel beyond the versions provided by the virtualization stack possible
• no installation of snaps under Ubuntu possible
