To add an external domain, first log in to your control panel and then click on the menu item [Domains] and select the option [External domains].
Now you see several options listed, which you can use to add the domain. In the next step, you have to contact your domain provider and request the change to one of the options described here.
We recommend, that you choose the option with the name server change, because in most cases this is the most simple method
However you have to make sure, that you do not accidentally take your website offline by changing your DNS, so we suggest to clarify this before with your provider.
If you have decided, which option you are going to use and your domain provider executed it, you should be able to add the domain without any errors.
If it did not work and you get an error message, please try again in a few hours.
It may be possible that the DNS change your domain provider has made is not fully completed yet. Nameserver changes may take up to 48 hours in some cases.
Tip: If necessary, you can also just let your emails run through us, leaving your website untouched. For this your domain provider must add our mail servers (mx01.easyname.eu and mx02.easyname.eu).
