What is a domain handle?

A handle is a record in the database of a registrar (eg DENIC or NICat), where information about a person or organization is stored. Its purpose is to simplify further orders (instead of entering all data again, it is sufficient to indicate the handle) and any changes can be made centrally (you do not have to update every domain, if your address changed). Each registrar has its own handle types.
