easyname Domainservice is a subsidiary of Nessus GmbH.

Since the launch in 2007 easyname has concentrated on providing a Domain interface that offers easy and innovative control for it's customers. Constraints like the ones seen at other providers (e.g. unnecessary fax confirmation, contraints on functionality) do not exist on easyname. easyname is suitable for resellers as well as for end customers.

In the end of 2012 easyname already had over 35.000 customers.

Datacenter & servers

All servers used by easyname are designed redundantly and consist solely of HP high end hardware products of HP Proliant DL360 series.

Our datacenters are located on two different sites in Vienna, the capital of Austria, and are connected via glass fibre. Several carriers are used for Internet uplinks, e.g. GlobalCrossings, LambdaNet and Eurorings. Direct connections to VIX (Vienna Internet Exchange) and to DE-CIX (German Commercial Internet Exchange) are also used.

Strategy

The use of fully automated systems allows easyname to offer rock bottom prices. The customer can therefore enjoy a system that works real-time, round the clock.

A Domain registration is possible already after few minutes, including billing.
